Avet SXJ G2 Single Speed 5.3 Lever Drag Conventional Reel
The SXJ is Avets smallest reel made, with a narrow spooling allowing it to excel in bottom fishing or jigging, as well as casting lures due to the narrow spool increasing the efficiency of line leveling during the retrieve. The G2 series offers increased drag pressure of the standard Avet series. All Avet Reels are precision machined out of 6061 T-6 marine grade aluminum and stainless steel components, then anodized for superior corrosion resistance and beautiful finish. The reels feature a true one piece frame for the ultimate in strength vs. weight as well as a powerful lever drag system with adjustable strike pre-set. Internally, the reels feature precision machined stainless steel gears and Avet's patented, indestructible, silent dog and gear anti-reverse system. The reels are also built with Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags for superior stopping power, smoothness, and wear resistance and 8 related stainless steel ball bearings. The handle arm is offset to reduce center-line profile and cranking wobble and a large comfortable soft touch handle knob. All reels feature an alarm clicker and are made in the USA.

*All reels will be backed with 20lb Clear Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament to fill the spool at no additional cost if the ordered length of braid alone does not fill the spool. To have your reel spooled with straight braid, either: 1. Order a quantity of braid that will overfill the spool and we will refund the difference, or 2. Contact Us with your request and we will promptly spool your reel and contact you with the exact length of braid to add to your order.
