Daiwa Harrier Slow Pitch Jigging Rod

daiwa-logo.jpg

The Daiwa Harrier Slow Pitch Jigging Conventional Rod is designed for the more subtle technique of “slow pitch” jigging where the jig is deployed much slower and more deliberately. It is a vertical jigging technique that has gained in popularity in Northeast, Southeast and Gulf fisheries. The thin profile blank, with a smaller diameter, delivers a sharp action and serves to better control the jig. The HVF Nonoplus Carbon Technology reinforces the blank through a micro-level arrangement of material in the plastic resin. This creates a smaller, lighter, more rigid blank. The blank is powerful with impressive fish-stopping power despite the size. The X-45 Bias Construction has greater strength and prevents twisting and ovalization. If the blank maintains hoop strength under load, it is much more powerful for its size. The innovative Fuji FazLite K-Guides are virtually tangle free and leave a minimal footprint on the bend of the rod. The four models are designed for braided line classes ranging from 30- to 65-pound test. The smart, white appearance belies its strength.  A unique EVA split grip is sure, yet ideal for jigging. A 5-year limited warranty assures the quality of components and construction.
