Daiwa Sea Power Power Assist Electric Reel
Electric reels continue to gain in popularity as the years go on as they provide access to fish and fishing adventures that just aren't possible with a non-powered fishing reel. Daiwa is leading the charge with various electric reels. The Sea Power features an aluminum body with a great aluminum ball knob. By moving the reel's motor inside of the spool, Daiwa has increased the power and durability of the reel. The Sea Power can handle deep drop swordfishing. It has the power and the line capacity. Just like previous Daiwa electric models, all of the electronics are fully sealed so you don't have to worry about salt and spray causing getting inside the reel and causing damage. You can even rinse off your electric reel in the same way as you would any other reel. Just like in the Tanacom, Daiwa repositioned some of the ball bearings to give them less exposure to salt, which is a great feature! The LCD is extremely clear, easy to use and highly functional. *All reels will be backed with 20lb Clear Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament to fill the spool at no additional cost if the ordered length of braid alone does not fill the spool. To have your reel spooled with straight braid, either: 1. Order a quantity of braid that will overfill the spool and we will refund the difference, or 2. Contact Us with your request and we will promptly spool your reel and contact you with the exact length of braid to add to your order.
