The Daiwa Tanacom line of electric reels is designed for deep-sea or long-line fishing. The versatile Tanacom 1000 makes deep drop fishing easier for anyone. The Tanacom 500 and 750 are unique in their sizing as they are much smaller than typical electric reels. The Compact Designs open up new avenues in how electric reels are utilized. The reduced size and weight allow these reels to be fished in the hand rather than in the rod holder. Both reels are well suited for stand-up fishing applications due to their light weight builds. The Tanacom can also serve as a light kite reel. The reel is built around a stout Aluminum Frame that remains ridged even under heavy loads. A Variable Speed Control allows real time adjustments to the fish retrieval speed.

*All reels will be backed with 20lb Clear Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament to fill the spool at no additional cost if the ordered length of braid alone does not fill the spool. To have your reel spooled with straight braid, either: 1. Order a quantity of braid that will overfill the spool and we will refund the difference, or 2. Contact Us with your request and we will promptly spool your reel and contact you with the exact length of braid to add to your order. For more detailed spooling instructions, such as the additions of leaders or topshots using specific knots, crimps, and/or hollow core splices, please Contact Us as well.
