Double A Custom Rods Chatham Special

Chatham Special trolling rods are the brainchild of Charlie Ponte, the founder of now defunct CMS Custom Rods. The Double A Chatham Specials replace the same quality and success that the CMS Rods had under a diferent brand. The rods consist of an 80 lb. class Calstar blank fitted into a 130 lb. Aftco aluminum butt. The rods are finished with silver Aftco roller guides with black threadwraps and silver accents. The "regular" model is applicable for most situations while the "long" model is useful when there is an obstacle that the line needs to clear such as a swim platform or if your swivel rod holder is set back from the transom.
