Although both EX models have 3 piece constructions, they feel crisp in hand and bend through their butt sections when putting the brakes on monstrous quarry. EX79-3

The EX79-3 was designed for targeting species like Cubera snapper, Roosterfish in Latin America, and other exotic species. Designed for easy travel, Ripple Fisher has created this versatile rod for use with a vast range of lures from the large jig heads, poppers and diving pencils. The rod is slightly stiff but highly responsive, ideal for casting at bonitos and yellowtails from smaller boats.

EX83-6

The EX83-6 is an ideal light tackle rod for GT or kingfish. Many testing iterations showed that a softer tip section, which is extremely rare for travel rods, enabled anglers to more easily control the subtle action of mid-size diving pencils and many other lures. During field testing, the butt section was able to stop the run of a GT in waters as shallow as 6m, while the rest of the rod bent to absorb the power of the angry GT. This rod has proven itself as a trusted weapon for exotic international expeditions.
