Starting in 2025, the Ocean Arrow series has been divided into three categories, adjusting the necessary elements for each target, resulting in a more refined lineup. The "BFT" is designed to fight stamina fighters like bluefin tuna, combining resilience and strength, ensuring that anglers can fight comfortably for extended periods. On the other hand, the "DTT" model emphasizes sensitivity and power to stop powerful fighters like dogtooth tuna, which are known for their tendency to run into reefs. The "AMJ" is a medium-heavy model that offers solid butt power for species like amberjack and large bottom fish, while still maintaining ease of handling.

The Ocean Arrow series consists of three categories. It features a tapered design with power and strength intended for serious battles with large fish, with five models available, each tailored to a specific category.

BFT: BLUEFIN TUNA
This model is specifically designed for bluefin tuna. The 5930 is effective for jigging with jigs that have high resistance, focusing on an enticing fall. When the current is complex and the line tends to move toward your feet, the 6615 allows for casting while jigging. Additionally, during the fight, the rod can be kept upright, allowing the angler to endure long battles with ease. Its feel is similar to that of the BIG TUNA casting rod, but with a shorter length, making the fight much easier. However, caution is needed, as forcing a fight that doesn't match the line weight may risk line breakage.

DTT: DOGTOOTH TUNA
This model is designed specifically for dogtooth tuna. It boasts exceptional blank rigidity to apply maximum pressure on dogtooth tuna, which are known for running toward reefs. The short length enhances the handling of heavy jigs. For targeting large fish at drop-offs or rough reef areas, the "DTT" is ideal, while the "BFT" or similar models are recommended for deeper spots with relatively fewer reefs.

AMJ: AMBERJACK
Designed for multi-purpose use, including species like amberjack, yellowfin tuna, and grouper, this model is well-suited for deep areas. It offers easy action and strength to withstand the powerful pulls of large fish. Compared to the "DTT," it has a softer rod feel, allowing for easier jigging and a design that offers more flex, making it suitable for various targets. Its resilience makes it versatile and can be used alongside the Selfish series.

Model Descriptions:

5930 (BFT)

This is a one-piece spinning model designed for targeting large fish like tuna and marlin through jigging. With its short length and a blank design that makes it easy to keep the rod upright during the fight, it allows for aggressive tactics necessary when battling large fish. Even when the fish circles under the boat, the smooth bending and increasing power of the one-piece design help maintain the rod's bend and allow for continuous pressure on the fish. It is primarily designed for slow jerking with heavy-weight jigs, as well as one-pitch jerking and fall actions, but it is also set up for easy jerking when mounted with a gimbal.

5930B (BFT)

This is a one-piece baitcasting model designed for targeting tuna species. It uses the same blank as the 5930 spinning model, but with increased rigidity due to the baitcasting design. This model features a regular taper action, making it suitable not only for vertical jigging but also for live-bait fishing and trolling. It is capable of smoothly handling long jigs ranging from 200 to 800g, even in areas with strong currents or deep-sea conditions.

6615 (BFT)

This is a grip-joint two-piece spinning model designed primarily for tuna jigging. Like the 5930, it has a design that makes it easy to keep the rod upright. The longer rod length makes it easier to avoid the line touching the boat's hull or equipment when the fish circles beneath the boat. Despite being a high-power jigging rod suitable for PE6-class line, it offers light and agile jig manipulation, allowing for jerks with varying speeds to entice the fish. The 6615 is a high-balance, large-game jigging model that combines rod flexibility, power, and easy handling during fights, making it an excellent choice for various targets and fishing environments.

5320 (DTT)

This is a regular-fast taper action model designed specifically for targeting monster-sized fish, especially dogtooth tuna. The rod has strong overall sensitivity and a short length, which provides excellent action response. This allows for easy manipulation of heavy jigs, even in strong currents. Additionally, it is equipped with butt power to forcefully stop fish running into the reefs during the fight. A fighting style that utilizes weight transfer with a lowered stance is recommended.

5910B (AMJ)

This is a grip-joint two-piece baitcasting model designed to accommodate various uses, including species like amberjack and groupers. It offers excellent portability, allowing for quick jerking even in strong currents during expeditions and other challenging conditions. The rod is also easy to handle with long jigs. Additionally, it is designed with butt power to control fish that run into the reefs.
