The Blue Safari has landed! Meet the world's first Wing Drag reel: Studio Ocean Mark's innovative solution that mates the convenience of a star drag with the repeatability of a lever drag. Featuring an infinitely adjustable drag wheel and four-position "wing" to fine-tune your drag on the fly, the Blue Safari retains the familiar thumb bar to instantly engage and disengage free spool. And with a non-disengaging variable-speed level wind mechanism, gone are the days of braided line dig-ins that keep jigs from hitting the bottom and inevitably lead to heartbreak when your would-be personal best makes that one last surge for the bottom. Additional standard features include a waterproof drag compartment with carbon fiber washers, an ultra-durable stainless steel clutch, and exquisitely-machined non-circular frame design for greater rigidity. Designed with slow, tai rubber, and inchiku jigging techniques in mind, the Blue Safari 35 is equally at home bouncing bucktails for fluke and sea bass and is a light tackle groundfish aficionado's dream. Available in four configurations of high gear, power gear, and right/left hand retrieve, there's a perfect model to accompany you on your next blue safari!

To have your reel spooled with straight braid, either: 1. Order a quantity of braid that will overfill the spool and we will refund the difference, or 2. Contact Us with your request and we will promptly spool your reel and contact you with the exact length of braid to add to your order.
