Studio Ocean Mark Fastener Spool Belt
The basic rule for storing lever drag reels is to keep them drag-free. However, if left as is, the spool will reverse and easily backlash. There was nothing really useful, like wrapping masking tape around it or tying a rubber band to the end of the leader. A thin zipper belt is used, which is easy to attach and remove, and does not get in the way when changing the spool.
It is ideal for clutch-type bait reels, and can also be used with spinning reels.
