Yamaga Blanks Ballistick Surf Rod
Fishing with lures is a popular and exciting activity. It can be enjoyed in many places, from rivers and estuaries in cities to the open sea, making it accessible for everyone. Though it may seem simple, advancements in gear and techniques have added variety and made the sport even more enjoyable.
Fishing with lures can be challenging, but that's part of the appeal. For example, changes in the baitfish or prey species can completely change how you approach fishing, making it feel like you're targeting a different type of fish altogether.
Rivers offer diverse fishing spots, from upstream areas to estuaries, each requiring different gear and methods. Fishing in the ocean brings even more complexity, as conditions and goals vary widely. Every angler has their own preferences and approach.
Fishing with lures changes depending on the region and season. Even when results are slow, returning to the water, testing new ideas, and observing changes in conditions can be very rewarding. The more you adjust and adapt, the better your results will be. It's an activity that combines challenge and enjoyment.
One of the joys of lure fishing is trying techniques from one place in new environments to see if they work. This drive for innovation and adaptability makes anglers look for rods that perform well in a different situations.

About Yamaga Blanks-
Rod building is a craft that Yamaga Blanks, a sister company with Ripple Fisher, has been perfecting since 2008 in their factory in Kumamoto, Japan. The craftsmen that work on these rods are seasoned and often have discussions with the designers to create a better product. Rods are repeatedly tested to make them tougher, lighter, and easier to fish.
