Using "Cool Vital", a cooling material that lowers the temperature of the fabric, shaking the cap with water makes it as cool as you want. This keeps your body temperature down and makes it an effective measure for preventing heat stroke. The breathable visor is made of a polyethylene material that is easy to wash and quick to dry, even when fishing in the summer.
