ZENAQ Muthos Sonio Surf Rod
The Origin and the Pinnacle: The Ultimate Practical Rock Shore Rod
It has been over 25 years since ZENAQ first released its rock shore rod.
Driven by a passionate commitment to meet the needs of dedicated anglers, ZENAQ has spent years of trial and error, continuously exploring new fishing techniques and the ideal design for rock shore rods. Through countless prototype rods and test fishing expeditions, the company has refined its approach.
All unnecessary flashy designs and parts have been stripped away, focusing solely on the essence in a strict and unconventional manner.
This is a rock shore rod built through years of experience—one that cannot be reached overnight, representing the pinnacle of practical fishing performance.
SONIO 100M RG- In urban outskirts and easily accessible breakwater points, where the baitfish are small and the fish are often wary of lures, the most effective approach is using delicate and versatile lures. However, with a rod catered to serve these needs, the lack of power becomes an issue when trying to land larger fish. To address this, the MUTHOS Sonio is designed to offer the ideal action: a rod that allows for the precise control and operation of lures or smaller plugs, while also providing the power needed for a strong fight, making it highly effective and suitable for a variety of situations.
SONIO 93M RG- The Sonio 93M shortens the Sonio 100M while maintaining its performance, allowing for even more delicate lure manipulation. It features an excellent rod balance and an action that doesn’t interfere with the lure's movement. Additionally, its surprisingly light weight reduces fatigue. The sharp casting action contributes to impressive casting distance. Capable of handling a wide range of lures, from 10g plugs to 100g jigs, this agile and powerful short rod enables you to approach shore fishing in a new way, offering both lightness and power.
All models are finished with premium components, with Fuji DPS reel seats with uplocking nut, Titanium K-Frame guides on KWSG models, Titanium LCSG guides on RG models, and all guides double wrapped for durability. Each rod has a 50/50 split in the middle of the rod.
